Center of NJ Travels to Bonaire, Netherlands, Antilles
Bonaire hosted
the second annual Wounded Warriors dive certification trip, and it
was all Bonaire that embraced these veterans.The support for this
project is a true grass roots effort that Bonaireans take personally.
From there motorcycle club escorts, gifts from fine shops, to dinner
at many fine restaurants, and a special one with the governor. Again
this year, soldiers who were severely wounded in Iraq and/or Afghanistan,
flew to Bonaire for their final open water dives. The warriors brought
their spouses and for the first time two of them brought there children
who also completed there certifications. A big thanks goes out to
all the people who made the 2nd Annual Dive Trip a huge success especially
to Jack Chalk, his family and Captain Don's Habitat.
